MUSIC AND THEATRE
LEGACY FOUNDATION

As president and founder of the Music and Theatre Legacy Foundation (MTLF), a non-profit Arts in Education organization, I am proud to announce our three year anniversary. The foundation is committed to transforming young people and communities through the performing arts. Our goal is to create memorable experiences that energize and ignite the next generation’s passion for music and theatre. In addition, we support young singers and actors through performance opportunities and financial assistance for professional coaching. Through collaborative learning we strive to strengthen the role of performing arts in public education.

My vision as a teaching artist and my professional theatre background, have served as the platform for keeping our artistic future bright! The focus of the MTLF is to build a bridge to a new generation of audiences by providing them with engaging learning experiences that celebrate the great legacies of world-class music and theatre. This focus is dedicated to enriching the lives of students through their performance with gifted vocalists, musicians, and actors. The Mission of the MTLF is to educate young audiences and expand the appreciation of the Great American Songbook, classical music, and Broadway Theatre. The MTLF cultivates partnerships for Arts in Education and encourages exposure to a higher standard of the performing arts.

The impact of “performing” rather than “observing” is Arts in Education at its most powerful! For press coverage on the MTLF please click here.

Sincerely,
Kathleen Mucciolo Kolins
